Fairline Boats will exhibit its award-winning Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS) on Queensland’s Gold Coast from May 24 - 27, 2012.
The popular model has already seen strong interest this year in Australia, with the sale of three boats to date and another due for delivery to new owners in late June 2012.
Combining the coveted hallmark of the Fairline Targa with forward-thinking design and functionality, the express cruiser has a spacious 3-cabin layout with optional fourth-crew cabin and en-suite. With the master cabin and the en-suite placed forward in the hull, owners benefit from expansive full-width accommodation giving a striking sense of open space with plenty of natural daylight and a fully flat floor, not widely available in mid-cabin arrangements.
“This model is especially popular for its innovative design, functionality and Targa style,” said Josh Metz, Fairline Queensland’s Dealership Director. “With sleek design and high performance, it also allows under-bridge access which is perfect for the Gold Coast waterways.”
Since its launch in 2010, the Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO has received a prestigious ‘Motor Boat of the Year’ Award in 2011 in the ‘Sportscruiser Above 45ft’ category.
Metz adds, “Positive market feedback along with the strong Australian Dollar exchange rate against the Pound Sterling makes for an exceptional buying environment.”
Home to a 330-berth marina in the heart of Australia’s most prestigious residential community, Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show attracts visitors from across Australia and around the globe and is renowned as a 'must attend' event on the Asia–Pacific boat show calendar.
On the evening of the show’s launch, Fairline will also co-host an invite only event at its stand in partnership with Bang & Olufsen, showcasing its latest high-end merchandise to an exclusive audience.
Fairline Boats now has a total of three authorised dealerships throughout Australia, covering the main boating states of Queensland, Western Australia and Victoria.
The vast territory continues to be a significant market for Fairline with a strong order book and ongoing delivery of new models.
“Sales continue to grow in Australia,” said Mr. Bryan Jones President of Fairline Asia, “across the region we are up nearly 600% annually since 2008.”
The Company’s latest icon, the Squadron 50 will be delivered to Australia by mid-2012.
