Our mission for this latest addition to the Squadron range was to create the true class leader in terms of spaciousness, relative to yachts of similar length. The Squadron 50 has achieved this ambition with the help of two particular features - the ‘full length’ hull design and our unique Tender Launch System. These innovations have made more internal space available for our designers and the result is a level of luxury accommodation and cruising practicality unmatched by any competitor.
This remarkable new 42 is every inch a Squadron, and takes its place in a range which includes our most visually inspiring and exclusive models. The huge, panoramic windows are a strong visual feature and flood the interior with light. This creates a real sense of ‘big boat’ luxury, further enhanced by the extra-large flybridge and walk-around side decks.
The Targa 50GT demonstrates all the practical design elements for which these long range cruisers are famous. The most striking features of this latest design are the sweeping panoramic windows and the choice of having your living space fully open or fully closed by operating the smooth-sliding roof. The well-positioned aft galley also adds to the sense of open alfresco living.
As with every Squadron, the 65 gives you the distinct impression of being on board a very large yacht. The flybridge has been designed with sociability in mind and features comprehensive entertainment facilities and two large, luxurious daybeds. A central window runs the full length of the sun pad on the foredeck bringing daylight into the forward cabin and adding a stylish look to the exterior.
