The Balearic Island is located East of the Spanish mainland, in the Mediterranean Sea. The Archipelago consists of the islands of Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza (the three main islands), Formentera, Cabrera and other minor islands. Situated in the western Mediterranean basin, Majorca is 37 km (23miles) from Menorca, 81km (50.3 miles) from Ibiza and about 200 km (124.3 miles) from the Iberian Peninsula.
The island displays all the gems of nature on its land. Indeed, the Majorcan landscapes offer an extraordinary diversity: steep mountains, cliffs that meet the sea, green valleys, blooming plains, bays, coves, rocky inlets, beautiful beaches fringed by pine trees... The climatic conditions promote the development of typical Mediterranean vegetation: oak, wild olive, palm, pine, orange, lemon and almond trees. The variety of colours give the island unrivalled charm a serene environment with the subtle perfume of fruits and almond trees.
