This will be the first time the model has been seen in Japan and will be shown at Pacifico Yokohama International Boat Show by authorised Fairline dealer for the region, Marina Velasis, trading as Fairline Japan.
The Targa 58 GRAN TURISMO first launched in January 2010, and has since gone on to receive numerous accolades including the esteemed 'Motor Boat of the Year' Award 2011 in the 'Sportscruiser Above 45ft' category.
It is a spacious three cabin, three en-suite express cruiser with an optional fourth-crew cabin and en-suite. The truly forward-thinking design, with light and space at its core, encompasses key design trends and technological features to offer bright, open and light-filled accommodation. With the master cabin and cleverly designed en-suite placed forward, owners have expansive full-width accommodation with only the foredeck above, allowing natural daylight to flood through.
Bryan Jones, President of Fairline Boats Asia, said: “With sport fishing and recreational boating an essential part of the national culture of Japan, we see tremendous growth potential in this flourishing market. We have already observed an increased interest towards European made boats in recent years, especially in Tokyo and Osaka, with the most popular lines from our 40-50ft range and customers inevitably advancing to bigger boats when they re-order.”
Fairline Japan is one of Fairline's longest serving dealers in the region selling consistently throughout Japan including the country's first T38GT to be delivered to a new owner next month.
"With every new model we sell in Japan, we see tremendous opportunity due to our loyal customer base and a new generation of boaters who appreciate our timeless elegance, class-leading performance and quality which no other manufacturer achieves.” continued Bryan Jones.
With over 40 years of boat building experience, Fairline Boats is one of the most revered boat manufacturers in the world. The company designs and builds luxury motor yachts under two distinct ranges: Squadron flybridge motor yachts and Targa express cruisers.
