First boat built by new Fairline Yachts rolls off production line

The first boat built by the newly formed Fairline Yachts has rolled off the production line. The boat, a Targa 48 GT, was bought through Fairline Yachts’ London based dealership, Bates Wharf.

Fairline Yachts, which was formed less than six weeks ago, has ensured continuity of production to guarantee it completes all orders for boats received by the previous owners.

Fairline Yachts’ Managing Director, Russell Currie, says, “We are delighted that today has seen the first boat to roll off our production line since our purchase of Fairline Boats from administration at the end of January. We have been focusing on completing existing orders to ensure no customer of Fairline Yachts from anywhere in the world loses confidence in our ability to provide them with their new boat.

“As a result, we have experienced a surge in orders from our dealer network, for both stock and retail sold boats for this year and next. With a healthy forward order book, some outstanding future product designs, a skilled and passionate workforce, a committed dealer network and a loyal customer following, Fairline Yachts is absolutely on its way to getting back where it belongs.”
